Lip-syncing analysis

I have decided to analyse the lip-syncing analysis in a student video rather than a main stream artists video because it will not be as well edited together giving me more to write about.

Within this music video there are three people who are lip-syncing. The main one is 'Ariana Grande' (the blonde haired girl). She has a hard job because Ariana is singing for most of the song but I thought she pulled it off well. She is clearly mouthing the lyrics and this makes it look realistic that she could play Ariana. She also moves her hands around when lip-syncing the high notes which makes it seem more believable that she is reaching them.

The male has about 30 seconds of performance time which makes it hard to tell if he is lip-syncing well. In some shots he is lip-syncing well but in others he doesn't move his mouth as much as he did previously which pulls the whole thing down.

Lastly, the girl who raps Iggy's part does a good job. Rapping is hard to lip-sync and Iggy raps relatively fast which makes her job harder. Throughout the performance she makes it believable that she could actually be Iggy. There are no times when she messes the lyrics up or stops the flow.
